Operations Manager (FTC - 12 months)
Location: Hulme, Manchester
Closing Date: Wednesday 16 October 2019
We’re looking for an Operations Manager who is innovative, passionate and carries the same social ethos as us. Based in Manchester, and working at sites across the city, you’ll be ready to deliver an immediate impact on local communities, helping us to discover and define the true value to customers of the Good Food Bag offer.
You will manage the day-to-day operations of the Good Food Bag during its 12-month pilot. You will focus on optimising costs, pricing, customer experience and quality control. Over the duration of the pilot, in conjunction with the pilot steering group, you will help to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the Good Food Bag model, the value it adds to communities, and its feasibility for future expansion.
A joint initiative between One Manchester and Irwell Valley, The Good Food Bag is a start-up giving families a low-cost, quick and healthier way to cook and eat together at home. We offer meal kits of fresh ingredients, with easy-to-follow recipe cards, and deliver them to the heart of our communities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a customer focused, proactive and approachable individual who can use their own initiative, work autonomously and as part of a team.
Why take up the challenge? This really is a great opportunity. We’ve bags of potential and have huge opportunities waiting to be unlocked.
The post is offered on a fixed term of 12 months.
